Coordination of staff exchange, workshops, and schools

 

Description

The essence of WP1 is the coordination, monitoring and implementation of timely accomplishment of the Coordination and support activities and tasks of the project; approval of progress reports. Specific focus will be made on the evaluation of the progress in the up-bringing of the anti-cancer immunotherapy task force at RSU and KIEPOR and new experiences resulting from the project educational and training activities. The lead partner for WP1 is RSU (Latvia).

 

Objectives

  1. Coordination of the activities and tasks of the project
  2. Coordination of the staff exchange
  3. Inventory of staff and infrastructural, equipment resources at RSU and KIEPORT, their mobilization and refining and re-structuring of their exploitation for resolving biomedical/biotechnology tasks in the field of cancer immunotherapy
  4. Increase motivation of the research staff by engagement in the research field through organization of seminars, workshops and summer schools.

 

Deliverables

  1. Enrolment of advisors to assess cancer and vaccine research at RSU, KIEPOR
  2. Analytical report on the inventory of local human resources, assembly of the core groups at RSU and KIEPOR as the basis to assemble the anti-cancer immunotherapy task force
  3. Analytical report on the inventory of local infrastructure, equipment resources, their mobilization and refining and re-structuring of their exploitation for resolving biomedical/biotechnology tasks
  4. Long-term prospective strategic plan of project coordination and support activities based on staff exchange and road maps for expert visits
  5. Overall plan of staff exchange, including expert visits and on-site trainings
  6. Workshop “Immunotherapy and vaccination against cancer”
  7. Workshop “Search for tumour specific targets”
  8. Summer school “Innovative vaccines and vaccinations”
  9. Revision by experts and advisors of the results of TWINNING activities.
