Dzmitry Shcharbin, PhD

In 1992 Dr. Shcharbin graduated from Belarusian State University, Physical Faculty. In 1999 he obtained PhD in Biophysics.

Since 1992 he is working in the Institute of Biophysics and Cellular Engineering of NASB (Minsk, Belarus) starting from PhD Student and finishing by head of Laboratory of Proteomics (since 2009).

His research interest covers nanomedicine: application of nanomaterials in biology and medicine for anticancer drug delivery, for nucleic acid delivery, for detoxication and binding of endogenous toxins as well as studying their biocompatibility.

He has 215 publications including 2 books, 3 patents, and 92 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His H-index is 20 (by Web of Science). He was awarded by 22 international awards, scholarships and honors.
